AGK For years I’ve wanted to add family documentary films that “slow down time” and capture a different side of memories. This year I finally stopped wanting and started making it happen. And now I share with all of you my very first film.
I love the dreaminess and joy this final result shows of this beautiful family. Over 10 years ago, Shayne reached out to me to set up a surprise photo session for his new fiancé, Megan. And we have now worked and laughed together through 3 children.

In addition to capturing moments for video, which is the main focus, I also snapped a lot of candid moments. Some of these are to help the children get comfortable with me following them around for a few hours, and some are to help them get out the “camera aware” energy so they can settle into me just being in the background. After working with this family for so long, they are used to looking at me, so it took some time, but I also enjoyed getting all the awesome snaps! Aren’t they just the most gorgeous?!
